メリンダヤングはこれまでに80以上の展示に参加しました。そして、彼女の営みは展示会用作品と限定版制作の範囲にわたります。彼女はすべて手作りで作品を制作し、手が彼女の仕事にもたらす個性と特異性のエッジを楽しみます。
彼女をとりまくもの（地面に落ちているものから建築物、風景、体の社会的状態）は彼女の作品に継続的なインスピレーションと素材を提供しています。彼女は色を愛し、しばしば作品作りにおいてモノクロのパレットと戯れます。
最近では、「Take a ball of thread…」と題したプロジェクトで産業用の大きなピンク木綿糸の着用の可能性を探求していました。
このプロジェクトの一部として制作された作品は、その進捗がブログで紹介され、
